Working remotely at Shopware
Remote work is an integral part of our everyday business. Around half of our team works permanently from home – whether in Germany or anywhere else in the world.
When are you considered to work remotely at Shopware?
If you live more than 100 km away from campus, you will automatically receive a remote contract. For special occasions such as your onboarding or joint events, we will invite you to campus – and we will cover the costs, of course.
Which public holidays apply to you?
It's simple: your local public holidays.
If you work on campus, the public holidays for the region apply.
If you live remotely, the public holidays for your place of residence apply.
And if you work for us internationally, the public holidays for your country apply, of course.
How do we support you in mobile working?
It is important to us that you feel well-equipped and connected, even when working remotely. That is why we provide you with a home office budget and offer comprehensive onboarding support. With personal buddies, digital tools and various formats for exchange, we ensure that you are part of our community right from the start.
Remote work worldwide – how do we make it possible?
You can also become part of Shopware outside of Germany. To do this, we work with an Employer of Record (EOR). This service provider officially employs you in your country and ensures that all legal requirements are met. For you, this means complete security and straightforward employment – no matter where you live. At the same time, you will be fully integrated into the team from the outset and experience everyday life at Shopware first-hand – with structured onboarding, close collaboration and plenty of opportunities to get actively involved.
